Fly Fishing Adventures is proud to offer access to Crystal Lake
Resort, one of Colorado 's premier private fly fishing clubs.
Crystal Lake offers one mile of private water on the North Fork
of the South Platte River near the town of Pine . The fishing
is diverse with the lower section of the river containing an open
meadow, while the upper reaches of the river offer a canyon type
atmosphere. Dry fly and nymph fishing can be effective techniques
throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Fish average close
to 16 inches in length and rainbows up to 27 inches have been
landed here. Two ponds on the property offer a chance to
catch trophy cutt-bow trout in a still water setting. The
world record cutt-bow was caught out of one of these ponds a few
years ago. The Resort also offers a private dining room,
lounge, and bar area. Included in the trip price is a hot
lunch served streamside by the staff of Crystal Lake Resort.
