Clear Creek River’s head waters start at the divide and run 60 linear miles of open stream from Georgetown along I-70 to Clear Creek Canyon and ends in the Town of Golden Colorado. Clear Creek has recovered quite well after so many years of mining and I-70 pollution, and hosts an abundant number of Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and every so often a Brooke Trout can be found. Clear Creek Fly fishing is a great experience for the beginner to Advanced fly fisherman. You can fish a large amount of water with easy access. With Great Caddis and baetis hatches it can be dry fly heaven on some days! Clear Creek is only a 15 minute drive from Denver and you can easily feel all alone out there on the water in no time. It is the perfect trip close to home and is a very productive fishery!
